One World One Heart Has Begun

I have decided to participate in a worldwide event for bloggers. Here is what it's all about.

One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers only. It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world. In the past 4 years this event has grown to over 1,000 participants with lasting friendships (and even one love connection) formed along the way.  Think of it as a GIGANTIC open house allowing you to travel without ever leaving your home........going from blog to blog(in various countries) seeing the wonder each one has created and meeting all the fabulous people behind those blogs. As a bonus each blogger participant will offer up a "door prize or prizes"....just for dropping by, saying hello and seeing their world.  It's really that easy.

Who Am I?

My name is Diane Stanley. I am a 58 year old stay at home mom, wife and grandmother to  7, soon to be 8,  precious little ones. Along with raising our 4 sons I have helped out in my husband's dental office for the last 25 years, but my family always came first. My 85 year old mom lives with us and my husband and I love to travel. My interest in sewing and all things crafty began as a young girl. I started by making all my clothes at about 10 years old and then gradually evolved into enjoying scrapbooking, quilting, gardening, photography, cross stitch, crochet, the list goes on and on. I enjoy the social aspect of crafting as well. I love having friends who enjoy the same crafts and creations as I do and also sharing my love of these things with my children and grandchildren. Living in Southern California is a great place for seeing nature and getting great inspiration from so many talented people.

What is My Door Prize?
I am giving away a Market Bag that I made just for this give away. It measures approximately 13"x20"x4" and is reversible. My son even took a few photos of me putting the finishing touches on  the bag.

How To Enter?
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post. If you are a blogger, please leave a link to your blog in the comment (so I can check it out) and for everyone who comments, make sure to leave a way for me to contact you in case your name is drawn as the winner on February 17. I will use random.org to find one lucky winner. If you leave your email best to do it in this format  yourname at gmail dot com (to avoid spammers).

Thanks for stopping by! Good luck!
I look forward to seeing everyone's entry and making new blog friends.
I decided that if I get 100 comments I will make another bag and have two give aways!
Looks like I better get busy sewing again. Now that I have 100 comments, can we make it 200 and I will make a third give away? I love this blog tour. So fun!
Since I made it to 100 comments here is the second bag I am giving away

Hi Diane,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love your bag and that it is reversible. Very cool! I would love to win your bag. :-)
This is so fun learning about so many new blogs and meeting the blogger behind the blog! Wish I were where you are.....I think it is warmer where you are than where I am. It's only about 10 degrees here and a windchill about -15. Send sun, please. ;-)

Well, I missed the first prize, but I am surely getting to meet new people from all over the world. I love the blog about the staycation and I do hop you had lots of FUN. I would really like to have the second prize it would help me out carry my stuff home from the store. I really envy you with the great Italian Deli, I am a nut about Italian food. Thanks for stopping by my blog Blossoms Bloomers and the kind comment on The Queen Wears Boots, a pin for Royalty.
