I have sewn all the circles for my Circle Me Back to Amsterdam quilt.
Do you remember my inspiration from Ayumi's blog?
This is the layout I have decided on.
Does anyone see anything that needs tweaking?
Now I have to teach myself how to "quilt as you go"...
Please suggest a tutorial.
thank you,

Absolutely LOVE it - fabulous! No tweaking required (in my very humble view :-) )
I could use a little more color in the lower right quad. Seems to be lacking a tad. Looks like alot of work Mom. Good job.
I wasn't going to say anything but when I saw Kyles post, he said exactly what I was thinking...so, I second that suggestion....I think it needs a yellow square in the lower right quad. Besides that...my second comment was also the same....it looks like a Ton of work....very cool!
This is gorgeous, Diane! So visually pleasing. I really really like this. I admire your quilting abilities!
IMHO, b/c I know nothing about quilting, I do agree with Kyle and Geri about that corner needing a bit of yellow. Also, after I really started looking, there are four yellow circles in a diagonal row in the front. See 'em? I don't know if it's really a big deal - b/c I barely noticed it - but it did stick out to me a teeny bit when everything else is so beautifully random.
What a fun project!
I just posted something on my blog about quilt as you go...why don't you group your blocks into bigger sections (2 blocks x 2 blocks, or 4 blocks x 4 blocks), and after you piece those groups together, quilt them to a piece of batting? Then it would be more of a manageable piece to get through your machine, and you would have the liberty to make some nice quilting designs :-)
It's lovely! There are many good tutorials for QAYG. In this one, we added links to a bunch of others too: http://shecanquilt.blogspot.com/2011/04/quilt-as-you-go-joining-blocks.html
This is lovely! Thanks for linking to {Sew} Modern Monday and have a wonderful week!
