2 More Farmer's Wife Blocks and a Few Gifts...Finished

I finished 2 more blocks for the Farmer's Wife quilt. I need to get a little ahead because I started late and will miss a few weeks this summer.
So here are the next two finishes. I am not making them in order, but instead browsing the book and making whatever inspires me that day.

I also finished Sam's Scripture Satchel today. My daughter-in-law asked me if I could make him a bag to take to church. I used a bag from Fresh Fabric Treats as a guideline, making it smaller and with not as many pockets.
He'll be 5 years old next month. I don't want him to think it's a purse. Hopefully it looks boyish enough that he will like it. I sure thought it turned out cute.
The fabric bundle is from Timeless Treasures purchased at Hawthorne Threads.

And I completed the finishing touches on Eden's birthday gift.

A simple little flower turns a Target t-shirt into a really cute little matching top for the skirt.  Sorry, I can't give credit to the blog I saw this on. My computer crashed last week and I lost my bookmark.
We're celebrating Father's Day tomorrow. That seems to be our routine lately...celebrating holidays the day before. But that's ok as long as we can get together.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Really cute - all of the gifts and the new squares. What is a farmer's quilt anyway?

Your farmer's wife blocks look great- I feel like I might be the only one not doing those!
