Our little granddaughter, Davis, started pre-school a few weeks ago. Here she is on her first day all ready to go in her layered skirt, silver sandals and backpack in hand. Can you stand all this cuteness? I thought I would use her photo for Kim Klassen's Back to School challenge for Texture Tuesday. After adding a layer mask and adjusting the hue/saturation to give it a more vintage effect, I used Kim's Just Stitched texture, soft light at 100% and Sweettart texture, overlay 100%.
thanks for stopping by,

You are a proud grandmother, and Davis must be so delighted to have you work with her photo and be PUBLISHED!! Great job with your textures.

Adoreable. They're so cute with their excitement of starting PreSchool. The grandbabykins went first time to Preschool last year and loved it..and now this year he's off to Kindergarten.
The first comment is from my blog bff Sharon! We've grown quite close. Love this photo of Davis...the ruffled skirt is priceless.
Adorable! My first granddaughter's first day of pre-school picture is one of my all-time favorites. They are so cute, bubbly, and full of life, hope, and good expectations then.
She looks so grown up, and use total cuteness there! xox Corrine
Beautiful and love the texture effect! The schools seem to break up for summer and return so early in the States!
A treasure! Can't wait to hear how her day went.
Beautiful post. I love the expression on her face.
