The sunflower are bending from the weight of all the seeds that have formed in the heads. It seems the birds have decided that our sunflowers make the perfect meal; breakfast, lunch or dinner. That's fine with me because I really just grow the flowers for their beauty not for the seeds.
I had fun playing with Kim Klassen's textures on this one.

I finally have a few photos of my sweet granddaughter wearing the little outfit and bag I made her for her birthday using Sugar and Spice fabric. Doesn't she look adorable carrying her bag full of all her "treasures"?
I made the postcard for the Do What You Love (Bloom) postcard swap. I love all these postcard swaps. I have been receiving the postcards from the Liberate Your Art swap that I joined a while ago and when I received this one in the mail last week, I knew I wanted to try to recreate it for my Bloom themed postcard. This beautiful Polaroid Painting is by Rhiannon Connelly in Scotland. Check out her website.
How do you think I did? I'll be sending this off to my swap partner in Canada.
I'll be announcing the next giveaway for my blogaversary, so come back soon.
Thanks for stopping by,
