Across the Seas for Natasha

I finished my Across the Seas QAL and it is on it's way to my SiL. I hope she likes it and will use it should she need to keep warm during her treatment for breast cancer. I'm really hoping she will not need to have chemo and then it can just be a nice cozy, comfy quilt to have as a reminder that I'm so glad she makes my brother so happy.

. The backing is Michael Miller's Violet Peacock Lane. It's a perfect compliment for the Terrain fabrics that I used for the front of the quilt. This was the first quilt that I used one of my Spoonflower labels

Susie, my long-arm quilter, did a great job with some geometric lines to show off the square angles of the block's design. Thanks to Jennifer and Sarah for such a fun QAL.

Thanks for stopping by,

I stumbled upon this post a while back, and LOVED the quilt. I decided to make one of my own, and remembered this one, but couldn't remember the blog (much less the post) where I'd seen it. I just found it again this morning! Yours is the quilt that inspired mine - I also used the grey for the background and love how it turned out. (It's actually behind me on the couch right now, lol) Thanks for the inspiration!!
