Farewell Steve Jobs

As our family sat around last night playing games on our iphones, catching up with  work on our MacBooks, reading blogs on our MacBook Pro or sharing music on our ipads, we were struck by just how much Steve Jobs changed the world. His wisdom and creativity has affected all our lives and he will be missed.
I leave you with this quote:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

I was so sad to hear about Steve when my hubby read it off of his iPad last night.

Very sad...it also reminded me that money can't buy much if you don't have good health. Damn cancer. I hate it! I love that quote and will keep is somewhere to remember it.

I don't have an I-anything or a mac anything, but I do appreciate just what impact he made on all our lives. His speech, from which the quote was taken, was on the radio last night. I'd never heard it before, and it made quite an impact on me.
