Goodie, Goodie, I am Happy!

I know, two posts in one day, but this one could not possibly wait! I received a package from the UK today. This one I have been watching on Flickr and even commented on the wrapping paper.

Low and behold it was from the lovely Katy in Scotland, whom I have been chatting with for several months now since we discovered each other's blogs. Look at all these lovely things she has made for me.

A mug rug in my chosen colors of aqua and orange and the sweetest sewing kit, complete with scissors, thread, needles and pins, needle threader and the very necessary seam ripper. It is made with the oh so sweet Sherbet Pips fabric and I love it. It has arrived just in time to take along to the Sewing Summit.

And also included were some very Scottish gifts...a key ring of Scottish Terriers, the smallest bottles of Scotch whiskey that I have ever seen and a Scottish Tablet sweet. The latter I have never heard of, and Katy tells me to  go easy and take tiny bites, because it is very rich and chewy. All with a sweet postcard.
I love it Katy, thank you!

What a nice gift to receive. That sewing kit is lovely - I really love the fabric it is made from. And I totally recommend the tablet - I love it - it is really sweet though.
