Pretty {little} Pouch Swap round 3

I finished my creation for the Pretty {little} Pouch Swap 3. The deadline to mail the pouch to our partner is in 2 weeks, so I am well ahead of schedule. I stress over these types of swaps so much and I don't know why. I want to make something for my partner that she will love but really, how can I know what she will love? I can stalk her favorites and decipher her inspiration mosaic and in the end I still make something that I like. I find it difficult to make something that I don't like, so I just pray she likes it too! My partner said she liked, oh wait I can't tell you that in case she reads this blog post before she receives her pouch. I don't want her to figure out it's for her.  But she likes a lot of different fabrics and designers so that part was easy. I loved this pouch when I saw it in round 2 a few months ago.

Kerry even made a tutorial of how she made the fabric. So since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I decided to copy this pouch, here is my version.
I started with this

and finally finished it yesterday. I am so pleased with this pouch. I really hope my partner likes it.
Here are a few views

It's an 8"x3" frame clutch. I wish I would have made the bottom a bit narrower so it would have resulted in a little longer length...but once you cut you can't change your mind. I got my directions from this
gathered pouch that I made the other day, mixed up in my head. I hope my partner loves it as much as I do.

I have been finishing a lot of projects that I started in the summer. One was to reorganize my fabrics. I have weeded out the rejects and will be having a give away soon. I have also finished folding all the fabrics. So I just need to put them in color order. This is a huge task. I hope to finish it next week.

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"
