3X6 Bee...another round

I decided to join in another round of the 3x6 Bee on Flickr. I am going to stick with the same colors of orange and aqua with backgrounds of grey or white. I think I will stick with this color combo until I receive enough blocks to make a decent size quilt.
Here are the blocks I received in the last quarter.

I like all the blocks but with my love of star blocks I guess you know which one is my favorite.
Now I have 6 new bee mates for the next quarter and I need to think up a block to make for each of them in their chosen colors.
I'm thinking either the California block
or I'll just make up a crazy nine patch or wonky log cabin. Who knows, by the time I actually get around to sewing these blocks I will probably change my mind. They are not due until January 15...
but we all know that will be here before we know it.

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"

I definitely agree with your preference for the star block! And the orange/aqua colour palette is great!

Fab collection of blocks, I have to admit, I do find the one with the wee bird in the corner cute, in a minimalist sort of a way. Looking forward to seeing what the entire quilt will look like :o)

I`m thinking about my block for the 4x6 bee and have just ordered some new fabric. My colours are purple, orange and grey. Love that star and love your California star! I`m into stars now so I might be doing one too. Hmm. Do you think there is a Marrakesh star?

Yep. The star block is my favorite too. And I am liking grey as a neutral more and more all the time. I have NONE in my stash so I feel a Veterans Day shopping trip coming on.
