This is my hand sewing bag. Can you believe it? I actually cart this ziplock bag around and use it to carry my needles, a pin cushion, threads, thimble, needle threader, etc., etc.
Ok, this WAS my sewing bag until I received this package in the mail the other day.
It's from Suzy, who's Flickr name is Szy Homemaker.
We did not meet at the Sewing Summit, but now we will make sure we see each other next year. She has the cutest labels with her address and craft name,
She actually apologized for NOT sending me a mini quilt.
But look what she did send! A large zipper pouch with an embellished embroidered flower (it's huge and will hold a lot of sewing supplies), a smaller zip pouch, a hand knit washcloth that is made of organic yarn,
a cute little pearl necklace (yes, she made that too) and handmade, organic soap made with coffee grounds and her own home grown lavendar. Suzy says the soap is great for cleaning up after working in the garden. Perfect for me!
A closer look at the machine embroidery on the large pouch.
No apologies necessary. This is a gift that will be put to good use.
ziplock bag any longer.

Lucky you! What a useful AND pretty gift! Enjoy!
Love pearls and love station pearl necklaces - lucky you! Love your new super pouch. Gorgeous gift but you deserve it!
Oh wow, what a fab package. I'll try not to look too pathetically at my Tesco bag (yep, no posh ziplock for me, only supermarket's free plastic bags here ;o) )
That was more than a swap, it was Christmas! Great gift.
Suzy is awesome! And she really made you some beautiful things! I bet that soap feels great, with the coffee grounds. Thanks again for the amazing mini quilt you made for me!
What a lovely gift those pouches are beautiful

Oh my goodness, I can't even believe that she felt like she needed to apologize. She spoiled you! It's all so beautiful!
