Whew...it's been a busy day!

If you're looking for the giveaway it's here.
Is anyone old enough to remember the song by Peggy Lee, I'm a Woman?

That was my theme song today. Here is one big run-on sentence of what my day was like.
I went to the post office, the grocery store, made a little clutch coin purse,

and photographed this linen clutch,

(isn't this just the cutest make-up clutch? I used the laminating vinyl from Joann's to make the DS fabric I used on the inside moisture resistant and easy to wipe clean)

washed a few loads of laundry, did the weekly payroll for Mr. R's office, finished cutting the fabric for my month (January) as queen in the New Bee on the Block ,

made labels for said bee packages, posted to Flickr about the instructions for my chosen block (+ and X block), then got the envelopes ready to mail to my bee mates,

and made chicken noodle soup for dinner...I'm tired.
After dinner, my son and I went over the plans and ideas for the drapery panels I am making for his loft.
I think this is what my days will be like from now until Christmas. I still have only a few gifts purchased, nothing baked and a list a mile long of things I want to make.
How was your day?

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"

Relaxing- compared to yours!! I guess you will sleep well tonight! BTW the make-up purse is lovely! Do you happen to know the name of the fabric on the outside? It's right up my alley! Oh, I know "I am Woman" but different versions AND different songs!

Love your coin clutch purse and makeup case. Still haven't taken on the challenge of making one. Maybe after the holidays. Wish I had your energy.

Holy cow, woman! What a crazy day!! Yesterday was a bust for me. I did nothing but cook and play with Clara... Although, now that I think of it, that's all I've done today too! I really need to get cracking on some holiday quilting! I think I'm just hesitant because the next quilt on my to do list is a t-shirt quilt and I'm not sure how to approach it. Do I stabilize? How should I quilt it? Are there enough t-shirts to even make a decent sized quilt?? Ah, decisions, decisions.
