Modern Mini-Quilt Challenge

I gave you all a mini hint that my friend , Jennifer, has dreamed up a brilliant mini-quilt challenge.
I am so excited that she asked me to host one of the days of the blog hop. 
My day is February 16th. That's a very special day for me, it's #2 son's 35th birthday.
I'm not really old enough to have a child that age, let alone one even older than that, but anyway...
back to the mini-quilt challenge.
