Resolved to Sew 2012

Very Berry Handmade has added a little incentive to make a list of what we want to sew in 2012. Check out her blog to see that their are some lovely gifts to entice you to make your list and stick to it.
Here's my list:
1. Don't get stressed out over swaps! As much as I love to do swaps I spend too much time worrying if my partner will like what I make.
2. And part 2 of the above is DON'T join too many swaps so that I won't get stressed out.
3. Remember my word for 2012 is I have to realize I cannot do everything and join everything that sparks my interest.
4. Finish my Rockin Robin quilt. It just needs to be bound.
5. Learn to put fabrics together. Jeni's BOM is really helping me to get comfortable with choosing and mixing fabrics from different lines and designers.
6. Try to design a quilt, all by myself, no outside input. This is a huge thing for me because I am NOT creative. I am a copier!
7. Join a modern quilt bee and try to get some local quilting friends.
8. Use as much of the beautiful fabrics I have in my stash as possible.
9. 3 of my dearest friends are all celebrating their 60th birthdays (along with me) this year. I want to make each of them a quilt.

We are to choose which of the fabulous prizes we would like if we win. I would love this gift certificate to buy something from Fancy Moon shop. 40£ is a lot of $$$.

Thanks for stopping by,

When is your birthday? Please tell! If I looked half as good as you when I turn 50 as you do now I would be thrilled!

Great list and good plan to stop stressing, doing too much and all that. Think I may have already blown that one. Ooops!

Good luck with all your projects...I know you and RW are turning 60 - who are the other 2? Debi? Kathy G?

Sounds like the perfect plan! I'd never have guessed you were much over 50 (and only then because I know you have kids over 30!)

I think you're missing a line though, absolutely no mention of the strippers... ;o)
