Custom Fabric

Have you ever designed your own fabric and had it printed at Spoonflower?
I had some quilt labels printed there last year.
Love them.

There is lots of room to write a special note to the recipient
or to record the stats of the quilt.
The labels measure 4"x6" and are printed on Kona cotton.

So, when it came time to chose a fabric to be used in each of my Stitch Tease bee mate's quilts
I knew I wanted to make a custom fabric.
Since I have chosen to have a word quilt made for me I thought what better choice than a fabric with all our names, cities and blog names printed on it.
Here is the final result.
I am pretty happy with it and think it will make a nice addition to everyone's quilt.
If it totally doesn't look like it belongs in someone's quilt
then I will use it for the label to be added to the back of their project.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by,

Di you've made a wonderful fabric, and you have to use it in mine - I will be dissapointed if you don't!

You can put that wherever you like in my quilt. I think it is a great way to add to the uniqueness of our bee.

I just love the fabric you've created for this, so special, thank you!

I have some labels I'm intending to make at Spoonflower, just need to get round to actually designing them...
