I finished 12 more granny squares bringing my grand total to 42. I only have 14 more to make and then I can start sashing these together. I guess I better order some grey sashing fabric since that is the overall favorite. I have had so much fun scanning these into my computer and playing with the layout. You can really get a good feel for how the finished quilt will look.
I am getting a bit bored with making the squares. I think it is because I am so close to being finished with them, I am ready for the next step. But, no two squares are alike, so that is really fun.
Now I need to get up to the sewing room and get working on my Stitch Tease strip...I have a deadline to make and as the bee mama, I need to set a good example.
Thanks for stopping by,
"di"

i'm having the same problem, i only made 27 and i'm bored -- starting to sash today/tomorrow and get moving with it -- i love how you do the mock-ups, are you using eq7?
Oh these look fab, although I can see why the boredom may have hit!
It's brilliant! Great job : )
This is wonderful...don't get too tired of the blocks...we can't wait to see the finish!
Your grannies are beautiful! It is always such fun to visit your blog.
Love your little grey grannies! I can see why they would get a little tedious...too much of a good thing! Very pretty though! Now, get stripping!
Bet you are counting the hours until the last grannies are on the bus!
Your grannies look great. I have the fabric ready to go....just need to start mine!
They're looking fantastic! I'm really excited to start a project that is quite similar. You're making me nervous mentioning boredom, though...
Fab fab fab! They look great now you've got all the prints mixed in. Keep going, slow and steady wins the race :-)
