Amazon Rocks

I just love it when I order something from Amazon and have it in 2 days. Yesterday, I received my copy of Shape Workshop for Quilters*. I have to admit I was a little thrown by the title, but when I saw this book I immediately wanted to make almost every block and quilt inside of it.
I love this block designed by Brioni. I can see myself adapting this pattern to use a jelly roll. How fun and easy is that?

Then there is this adorable quilt designed by Tacha. I think this might be the birthday quilt I need to make for my granddaughter's second birthday.
This quilt, designed by John Adams Quilt Dad, just might be the quilt to encourage me to break out the rotary cutter on my Flea Market Fancy.

There are so many fabulous blocks and quilt patterns in this book. I think I will be referring to it for a long time. Katy Jones I'm a Ginger Monkey, has designed this manly, two-sided quilt. I have been promising Mr. R I would make him a "man quilt" and this might be just the inspiration I needed.

There are so many projects in this book, I could work my way through it for a year and I would never be able to make everything I love in it.

Now I am even more excited for Sewing Summit, where I will get to meet both Katy and John.

*all opinions are my own. I was not paid to review this book, nor did I receive a free copy.

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"

I'm going to Sewing Summit too! And have plans to take Katy's English Paper Piecing class, still waiting to see what else comes up for classes, but Katy's is a must!
