Am I the only one thinking everyday is Wednesday, lately? It's time to link up with Lee again for Work in Progress Wednesday.
I have 6 projects in different forms of production lying around my sewing room. It actually looks like a bomb went off in here...and fabric scrap bomb!
First up, are the framed clutch purses that I am making as samples for my friend, Brigitte. I am also making 20 kits for her to sell at the sample sale in Kansas City next month at Quilt Market. I am waiting to receive more fabric from her, and then I can finish cutting the kits and get them all put together.
I started another quilt. This is Jeni's Giant Patchwork Chevron pattern from the Moda Bakeshop. I wanted something fairly quick to use up the 3 charm packs of Reunion I have. I added the extra squares needed using some solids. More details as this one gets closer to a finish, hopefully, this weekend.
My other Reunion project, waiting on my order from Pink Castle, for the extra wide dark grey dots to be used as the backing on this one.
Almost finished with a HST project. It won't win any awards, but it might be a lucky random draw in Megan's Festival of half-square triangles. This will be one of the pillows I am making to go with my Swoon quilt.
Two Retro flowers finished, only 14-18 more to go.
The April bee block for New Bee on the Block is still staring at me...but I plan on finishing this up in the next day or two.
Lastly, this is what happens when a blind date turns into your life's mate.
42 years ago I met Mr. Romance and he is still earning that title today, by bringing me a beautiful bunch of ranunculus and a card.
I played with this photo with a new app on my iphone called Snapseed.
I think they look almost like a beautiful Impressionists painting.
There are so many projects that I have not made any progress on and I need to make a huge list of all the non-sewing things I need to get done before our June vacation.
