Market Day in Aix en Provence

I am entering Lynne's Aurifil thread competition with this collection of threads I have compiled using an old photo from one of our trips to France.
This was taken on a rainy day in Aix en Provence in the south of France. It was one of our most memorable holidays. I loved shopping like a local at the markets set up in every narrow alley and street.
I am lucky to have an Aurifil thread swatch sampler and the colors I have chosen really do match perfectly to the photo.

1. provence 2004, 2. 4182, 3. 2843, 4. 2420, 5. 2560, 6. 2150, 7. 2890, 8. 1114, 9. 2545, 10. 2140, 11. 2250, 12. 2310, 13. 2135

If I were to win I would like these threads in 40 wt. to use them to quilt the stack of finished quilt tops that is gathering in my studio.
Have you entered your thread choices yet?
Just in case I can't enter with the photo in the middle I have made a mosaic without it. Wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"

I think it makes it with the photo in the middle. It should've been part of the competition!
