How was your week?
I have to say I had a really good week.
I enjoyed lunch with my mom and son on Tuesday.
We had rainy, cold weather off and on all week, so I had a lot of sewing time.
I finished a quilt top, dropped off my Swoon quilt to Long Arm Susie, and completed my project for The Festival of Half Square Triangles (that's tomorrow's post).
We got together with long time friends to play bridge (we are novice players), talk, laugh and enjoy dinner at a delicious Indian restaurant. It was super cold and windy, but we did see the sunset at Redondo Beach...just a tad late.
Today was a special day. It was my friend's 60th birthday. She celebrated with a girlfriend's brunch at a lovely, old West Hollywood hotel. 22 women all talking at the same time, what could be more fun than that?
Giving your friend a quilt you made just for her...that's what!
After the birthday party we stopped at our son's loft. This was a long overdue visit to see some of the beautiful changes he has made to decorating his new place. I'm not allowed to show very many photos because his loft is supposed to appear in a magazine soon. Here's a little sneak peak.
