For the second time in less than a week I have had to have my eyes dilated. All is ok, thank you GOD! I cannot imagine losing my sight. I have seen what my mom goes through having had a retinal hemorrhage 11 years ago and I do not want that. But, dilated eyes cannot sew and dilated eyes cannot read blogs, nor can they be in bright sunlight, so I have been lying around for the last few hours thinking about all the sewing, reading and gardening I would like to be doing.
Our son, Kyle, made this video for me for my birthday with all the photos everyone had sent to him so I got it loaded up to YouTube.
My friends and family like to tease me about all the hairdos I have had over the years but I think Kyle is in the running for second place if you ask me.
I hope you will enjoy seeing my metamorphosis from a child to an adult...and to see how my family has grown! Or you can just skip this post.
Thanks for stopping by,
"di"

Once you were grown, you never seemed to have aged in the photos. Beautiful family - I love all the smiles.
Hi Diane, of course I was curios about the haircuts. But for rights of music the youtube is not to be shown in Germany. Hm - pity.
Hope you are doing better soon with your eyes. Don't worry too much.
Hugs
Great photos! Ah, the 80's perms! I hope you are okay with all the eye problems!
Great pics and cute hair! I don't know how old you are but, you look great!!!! Lovely family.
Oh Di - so relieved to hear all is well with your eyes! Look after yourself and take the time - everything can wait. The video is wonderful and love the perms too and the shot with Paul (?) and a large mustache! What amazing sons you have but then you know that!
Oh I dunno, I think Mr Romance's facial hair gave your hair styles a run for their money... ;o)
I was a wee bit worried about the lyrics of song 3 though, I think they're trying to tell you you're getting old!
Hope you get your eyes sorted soon - you wouldn't want to miss Mr Romance's Tom Sellick impressions for longer than was necessary!
What are they checking for? Loved seeing the video again!
Oh I hope your eyes are ok. Your vision is so important. And this video is so amazing! What a tribute to such a full and beautiful life you have created!
