Welcome to my stop on the WinterKist blog hop. If this is your first time visiting my blog, I hope you will enjoy what you see and come back to visit often. Thanks to Katie for organizing this wonderful hop and inviting me to join. I am very honored to be included in this hop and to be able to work with these wonderful, new Lecien fabrics designed by Monica Solorio-Snow, The Happy Zombie.
I have made this trio of coordinating Home Dec accessories with the fabric. I am so glad Katie sent me this color scheme. I just love the white, greys and black with it's pops of raspberry and pink! Be sure to check out the other posts to see all the colors available in this fabric.

I made another of Nova's wonderful nesting fabric bowls. I loosely followed the pattern for the 7" size bowl. It is a good sized bowl that I can use for bread or rolls on my Christmas buffet.
I think it looks great combined with Essex Linen in the putty color and top-stitched with a heavier weight thread in raspberry.
I knew I wanted to make two pillows and so I decided to make two patterns I have never made before. Can you believe I have never made a disappearing 9 patch block? It's a beginner's block, right? Who knew it would look so great in these fabrics? The only fabric I added to this range was the grey polka dot. Then the Gnome found a perfect home in the corner of this 20" pillow. I quilted it in a simple grid with stitch lines about 3/4" of an inch apart.
The other block that I have never made is a Dresden plate. This one was so easy, too, using the Dresden plate ruler. I asked my friend, Susan Canadian Abroad for ideas on how to hand quilt it. In the end, I got lazy and just did some echo quilting with the sewing machine, following the lines of the Dresden plate. I wish I would have listened to Susan because I am not as fond of this pillow as the other. This one is also 20".
So there you have it. My little trio of WinterKist Home Dec accessories.
Now here's the good part for you, my lovely readers. Just leave a comment and you will have a chance to win a Fat Quarter bundle of fabric of your choice donated from the Fat Quarter Shop. very cute di! love the cushions!
I love the Dresden plate cushion in this fabric! So bright and cheerful!
Your projects are adorable. I love the way all the circles and the snowflakes interact in the disappearing nine patch. Thanks for sharing!
Well, if I had known it was a Christmas pillow I would have tried for a quilting pattern that turned your dresden into a snowflake. But I do think you are being too hard on yourself as the cushion is gorgeous, as is the D9P one and the basket. Great fabric used by a great quilter.
Love the gray and pink combo!
I have never thought gray and pink go so well together!:)

I love the disappearing 9 patch! Your quilting really fits the cushion design!!
Gorgeous!! I love the gnoma pillow the best but only because it has the gnoma on it.
You have done a great job and all your projects are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Your projects are lovely - who would think those colors would work so well?! this has been such a fun blog hop - so many creative folk out there. Thanks.
Brilliant! Love your creations! That's one fab line, isn't it? Just lovely prints and colors to choose from.
Loving the fabric, of course! But that bowl is fantastic, and it stores so easy that it might fit in my cupboard!
they look so cute all together! I love the look of the disappearing 9 patch for the pillow
Your Pillows are AWESOME!!! You are sooo Talented...love the things you create! (wish you were my neighbor! Know we'd have such fum! lol)
LOVE the lil' Gnome guy from Winterkist! He is soooo cute!
love those colors together and the cute buckets
I love the bowl! The Dresden plate pillow that you say you're not as happy with - you might like it more if you change the shape of the pillow to echo the plate (so either a round pillow or a hexagon). Then it would have a more Christmas wreath vibe to it. Just a thought. :) You did very nice work.
They're all gorgeous! Well done! And thanks for the chance to win. :)
All gorgeous!! I love Nova's pattern for the fabric bowls, I think i'm going to have to make more now :)
These are great projects. I can't wait for this line to show up in stores!!
They all look great! Really love the 9 patch pillow. Wonderful job.
Your projects are wonderful. I especially like the pillow with the gnome on it.
I've always liked grey and pink together but I can't see them as Christmas colors. I guess I'm still too traditional. Still, the fabrics are lovely and I like your projects for the whole rest of the year.
The Winterkist looks fabulous in these colourways with the grey, great choice! Love the pillows but that basket is just adorable, especially the pink quilting thread.
These are wonderful. I especially love your pillow with the gnome on it. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I really love the dresden pillow! So pretty! I think I need to do something in my living room, I'm sick of the ugly pillows going on here. =) The problem is everyone throws them on the floor or to the side, except me. I don't know if my labors would be in vain or not. =)
Oh I'm a massive cushion pixie! I love love love them! The gnoma sets yours off perfectly and the other design is very captivating! Well done!
Jerra xx
