Frazzled...

Where does the time go? I have so many things going on right now I really don't know what end is up!
I have been sewing like crazy and prepping for Sewing Summit. I have not taken the time to right a proper blog post. I have about 5 different projects or topics I want to write about but simply cannot find the time.
I did complete one project this week...a new case for my MacBook Pro.
Here's what I had before...a neoprene case I ordered on Amazon.

I used some of my prints from one of my favorite lines, Echo by Lotta Jansdotter. For extra protection I used a layer of iron on batting for the outer fabrics and also for the lining. I used a heavy duty jacket zipper for the opening which caused a bit of a problem on the curve with all the bulk, but overall I am happy with the way it turned out.

I'll be Traveling Handmade when I go to Sewing Summit next month.

My brother is coming next week for a visit and to surprise our mom for her birthday, so I might be kinda silent next week. I haven't seen him in 7 years so there will be lots of catching up to do.

Thanks for stopping by,

"di"

I don't know where to start either. Yikes. Cute cover and really enjoy your brother. I'm sure most people will understand if you are a little late on some things. Life happens right?
