September {a mid-month catch-up}

I am really enjoying this new bee I am in. The second month, for Chrissy, has been a nice challenge. We are loosely working from the Modern Blocks book. We don't have to pick a block from this book, but it was the basis for the bee.
Chrissy chose the Four Acres block from the book.
Here are my two blocks in her chosen colors of orange, teal, hot pink and brown.

These girls are a great group and I look forward to working with all of them.

Block of the Month with Jeni
I also finished my HST BOM for September. I can't believe there are only three months left in this series and more importantly, in 2012.

I'll be going to Sewing Summit again this October and the plans are in the works for all the swaps, dinners and impromptu fireside classes.

Here are the official classes I will be taking.

The classes are only a small part of Sewing Summit. The best part is meeting and chatting with all the great bloggers and sewists whose work I have been admiring and who I have developed friendships with in the last few years. This year there are even more people coming from all over the world. I can't wait.
Thanks for stopping by,

I do a double take when I see your bee block with the Echo centre- its what I chose! I am jealous, of course, that you are going to Sewing Summit ....again!

I really like your BOM block and envy you going to SS - the impromptu fireside classes sound the best.
