WiP Wednesday

I've got two projects I am working on right now.
The Hexie MF quilt-along with Fat Quarterly is progressing slowly. I have 64 of the 70 flowers pieced together and then I will have to lay it out in rows to see what works. I have only made two or 3 flowers the same so it should be pretty easy to decide on a layout.

Last week I started another of Katy's quilt designs. It's the Orange Soda  quilt from Shape Workshop for Quilters book.

I used 7 charm packs from 4 different lines of fabrics. I'll give all the details when I post the finished quilt.
For the petal pieces I am using an apple green pin dot. I wish I would have gone with a bolder color.

But I like the ease with which the quilt comes together and in the end I think it is going to be really pretty.

I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced. There are some wonderful projects going on right now. Go check them out.

Your quilt is really lovely! Are the petals appliqued? A really neat idea!
