Welcome to anyone new who has popped over from the blog hop. I hope you'll have a look around and come back and visit often. If you have been following along on the Travellin' Pic-Stitch Blog Hop I am sure you have seen some lovely vacation locations and English Paper Piecing ideas. This blog hop has been going on for a few weeks now and we still have a few more weeks to see all the fun English Paper Piecing projects inspired by everyone's travel photos. Katy and Laura are finished with their western US camping trip and have been posting photos from all their locations in Utah, Colorado, Nevada and California.
I considered several travel photos from recent vacations.
I used this site to build most of the palettes and I also used a color picker on Photoshop Elements for one of the photos.
We loved our relaxing time spent at a friend's gorgeous home built in 1766 in Austria this past July.

In the end, I decided on this photo. Mostly because I wanted to make a simply colored pillow using Katy's {I'm a Ginger Monkey}Spring Carnival template set that I had won a few months back from a giveaway on her blog. Taken in Cartegena, Columbia while on a cruise through the Panama Canal, March 2011.

All your photos are wonderful - how could you choose just one? Love the beginnings of your cushion! That's a great fabric!
I think the Columbian photo is my favourite and your EPP cushion will be very pretty. I have some Spring carnival blocks to make for my EPP bee - perhaps I shall baste the templates today.
Such beautiful photos! I look forward to seeing the insisted item, it's looking great so far!
Oh you have some beautiful photos - and memories - there. I love that photo of the flowers in Washington. The epp looks great!
Great fabric choice, and love the selection of photos you auditioned! I'm having slight visions of Romancing The Stone with your location though ;o)
I love the Spring Carnival pattern. I downloaded it but have not had a chance to make any of the pieces yet.
Lovely photos, and great final block xxx
