This Week in 2012, Week 49

Here's a quick re-cap of my week in Instagram photos.
I continued the family tradition of making Nut Roll for some of our Christmas sweets

You can see the recipe here from last year's blog post.

I finished the last 3 dozen coasters made from this fabric panel  purchased on Spoonflower.
They will be gifts for friends.

I built the last two shelves to get all my fabric organized.
IKEA is perfect for this kind of storage.

A first for me.
I spent two days starching and cutting out the fabrics
for a quilt before even sewing one square.
This is Camille Roskelley's Flower Girl pattern
and her Marmalade fabrics.

And then I made one square to see how it will come together.
This one is easier than her Swoon pattern.

We finished decorating the outside of the house.

Do you do the same decorations every year?
I might have to change things up next year.

I made my first of 8 hoop Christmas ornaments
for our grandkids.

I have lots to finish in the next 10 days.

My goodness you have been busy! Love that coaster fabric, and the first hoop is fab. But how do you find the time to start a quilt amongst all the other stuff going on?!

I get hungry reading your blog lately. Those look so yummy. I love the coasters too, and the hoops. I think decorating for Christmas without the cold weather and snow must be unusual.

Do you sleep at night? You sure seem to fit a lot in your days. I can't wait to see the finished quilt - the block & fabrics are lovely. Where would we be without IKEA? With the exception of the sewing machine cabinet, my entire room is an IKEA display.

I know the feeling. I have one quilt to bind and two to quilt and bind before next Sunday.
