This Week in 2012, Week 50

Nothing I made
or
did this week
can take my mind off my broken heart
for those parents and children
affected by the horrible events
in Connecticut
of this past week.

The hearts of our nation mourn
the loss of these little children
so senselessly gunned down
and the teachers who tried to protect them.

It took those of us round here back 16 years to Dunblane, just up the road, and I hope as a nation you can get past it as we did.

You are in good company, Diane. It's been a tough couple of days. Hang in there.

It is beyond comprehension and too sad to even consider as a reality for me.

I know - I think about it every time I look at my sweet, innocent daughters. Such a difficult weekend. : (

I think everyone has hugged their children a little tighter. Well said Diane.
