Yesterday I made the bindings for the #scrappytripalong and the Flower Girl quilts and sewed them to the quilts. My nights this week will be spent watching TV and sewing the binding down by hand. I love this part of making a quilt.
Today, Mr. R is at a continuing education class, so I will be making more plus and X blocks. I think I need to make about 30 more to bring me to an even 100.

They are going to be gorgeous finishes Di. I love sewing down the binding too - so relaxing to be away from the machine after what I always find to be stressful quilting. I am looking forward to the dual ta-dahs!

I am not sure that I am crazy about sewing down the binding but I feel that the quilt looks so much better when you hand stitch rather than machine stitch.
Sewing down the binding is my favourite bit too. And your flower girl quilt is gorgeous.
Stitching binding on two quilts sounds like bliss. Hope it went well :)
