Sending a Hug to Boston

To Boston With Love

By now you all must have heard about the drive for banners flags to be displayed in Boston and to stand with the city in support and love. My best friend was there, having just crossed the finish line only minutes before tragedy struck. I am so thankful she and her running group were not injured and so very sad for the families of those who lost their lives and for those who were injured in the senseless act of violence.

This is my contribution. It's the least I can do.

I hope you will take the time to read about the efforts of the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild here and help if you can.

You made a friendship star too! My brother was there, not running but watching but about a mile from the explosion, heading in that direction. It makes this so much more personal knowing that, I bet you feel the same way. I love this world hug that is happening.

Thanks Di for the push I needed to make a flag for the banner! And when I saw that Leanne had made a Friendship Star too...well, I had to copy, didn't I!? I am so happy to be able to be part of this worldwide initiative!
