May Fresh Sewing Day

During the month of April I think I sewed almost everyday...
you would think I would have more to show for it
but I have so many projects in the "in progress" stage
that I can only share 2 real finishes this month.
I made the wonky log cabin block and sent it off to Janice,
who has a quilt in progress made of all wonky log cabin houses.

I did work on bee blocks.
The spider webs are for Sarah in the Modern Stitching Bee.
I also sent off a friendship star to Boston with Love.
I wish I could be in Boston to see all the flags flying in support
of the city during Memorial Day weekend.
The deadline to participate has been moved up to May 21,
but you still have time to make one if you would like.
I also started another Flower Girl quilt.
Two blocks finished...18 more to go.
I added 4 more blocks to my Virtual Quilting Bee project.
These colors are really growing on me.
This quilt is even prettier in person.

One of 2 finished projects is the Siblings Together quilt.
It went in the post yesterday
and I hope it will bring a child some comfort and warmth.

My favorite finish of the month has to be
the Spiral Geese Mini Quilt I made for Lindsey
for the Post Sew South Swap.
Good news...Janice is working on getting the pattern ready
so you can make one too.

Linking up with Lynne.
