Queen Rhonda

I am in the Modern Stitching Bee with some lovely and talented women.
This month it is our fearless leader's turn to be queen.
Rhonda asked for 2 different blocks, both from the Modern Blocks Book.

The first is Checkers.
She asked us to personalize the center with whatever we wanted
instead of making a siggie block.
I found this cute little paper pieced sewing machine on Pinterest.
Then I stamped my blog name.

The other block is the Diamond Ripples block.
Just bright, happy fabrics in a variety of colors.
HST are so darn versatile.

And since it is Really Random Thursday I thought I would share this fact with you.
A study shows that pear shaped  women live

9 years longer than the average women.
So it looks like you are stuck with me for at least another 28 years.

Live A Colorful Life

Lucky you! I'm not pear shaped at all. I used to be hour glass but after kids and with my love of food, I am now what Trinny and Susannah call a brick. Large all the way up and down. But I'm tall and active so I hope that gives me some years!
