UR Here...Orange County

My friend Sukie had a brilliant idea. She started a swap for the You Are Here coffee mugs from Starbucks. I don't like Starbucks coffee and I rarely ever go there, but these mugs are really cute and a  nice momento to grab whenever you are visiting a new city.

UR Here Swap

I wasn't going to join because I thought a California mug was too boring and I don't live in Los Angeles, but then I saw our local Starbucks has an Orange County mug. That's where I live so I decided to join the swap.

I made two little pumpkin coasters and added a few F8 of Acacia and some chocolate. I hope my partner likes this. I wonder where my gift will come from...it could be close by or as far away as Europe or Asia. What a fun swap! Thanks, Sukie!

I would have loved to have joined in on this one, but no Australian mugs unfortunately! Your parcel will be well loved, I'm sure! Gotta love some fabric to play with too!

What a good idea! I missed this (and I don't know where the nearest starbucks is anyway) so this lovely package isn't heading my way!

The Real Housewives of Orange County! Great package - love everything, and that chocolate sounds a-mazing!! Hope you get an interesting mug back :)

Love the pumpkins. I had seen these mugs pop up in my flickr stream but as I don't go in Starbucks I didn't realise why everyone was getting the same type of mug to put in their swap package! I'm going to see if they do one for my local town and what it's like!

I love this swap but there's not a Starbucks anywhere near me. *sad face* I'd be chuffed to bits to receive your parcel, though!

those are precious little mug rugs! Can I ask what pattern you used for them?

What a fun idea. I like that they have different cities. My hubby's cousin collecte the mugs and he brought her back one from Turky last year.

Don't shoot me, but after seeing the mug that said "Orange County", when I saw the coasters, I assumed those were oranges. It didn't occur to me that they were pumpkins. I'm sorry!

Fun idea for a swap :o) I haven't a clue if there's a Glasgow, or even a Scotland one of these!

What a fun swap idea!
We have a Starbucks in my hometown. I wonder if they have a Dutch mug.

Great idea for a swap and you have done your partner proud - but like many of us non-Americans, Starbucks is not a place I remember ever going in!
