Crafty Traveler Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Crafty Traveler Blog Hop. I am so glad Jennifer has invited me to be a part of this creative crew and I hope you will like what I have to share here today.
Traveling with handmade bags, quilts, zipper pouches and purses has become a bit of a status symbol for we crafty types. Just how many handmade things can we take along with us? {That is my husband's question} Since I started taking a quilt with me {when space allows} I find that I sleep much better. Carrying a bag or purse I have made just makes me happy. I have made and been gifted a lot of handmade bags and pouches. This photo just shows the ones that are not in use at the moment.

While on vacation with Mr. Romance and as a Crafty Traveler I like having a clutch to take with me to dinner. My Date Night Clutch is the perfect size for bringing along the simple necessities of cash, ID, credit cards,  lipstick, tissues and my phone.

Those who are familiar with my 8"x3" Framed Clutch will recognize this bag, but it is new and improved. I have drafted a pattern for the insert {sold separately}, to allow places to keep credit cards, cash, and two pockets, one with a zipper. This allows you to carry everything you might need for an evening out, without needing to take a wallet, too. If you have not already purcased the 8"x3" Framed Clutch Pattern, The Date Night Clutch includes the pattern for the clutch and the insert.
A special thanks to my friend Jennifer @jjarchowa on Instagram for testing the new pattern for me.

I hope you will take a look at my patterns on Craftsy. Get inspired by visiting all the blogs on The Crafty Traveler Blog Hop and get busy sewing because there are some great prizes to be won. Just link up to The Crafty Traveler on Jennifer's blog. The link is listed below.

That clutch is sooo cute. And I love the I extra pockets! I have a fat wallet so I hate shoving it into a clutch to go out.
