My Month in Modern Stitching Bee

It's my month to be queen in the Modern Stitching Bee. I asked for cross blocks in jewel toned colors with a scrappy low-volume background.
These blocks are really easy to make and make use of 5"charm squares for the corner blocks.
The blocks have started to arrive from my bee mates, but I'll wait to show you all the pretties at another time.
Meanwhile, I'll need to make a few of my own to make a lap sized quilt, so I made three more this week to add to my original sample for the bee girls.

If you want to make these blocks I have made a diagram using the Touch Draw app. They should measure 12-1/2", unfinished.

Those blocks look like fun. We are always looking for charity quilt blocks for our guild.

You make this one look easy! Such pretty colours too! (I might need to investigate the Touch Draw app myself!)

Thank you so much for the pattern. Your blocks are so sweet and it is such a great pattern to use some of my stash fabrics.

Di,
You might just see me making some of these at SewSouth. I'm torn as to exactly how I want to spend my sewing time while there. I have the perfect rainbow and low volume charms I could use. So...There's a good possibility! thanks for the inspiration.
