October Stitch Tease Bee

I'm down to one bee for October, which made for an easy month. Next month a new bee kicks in for me and I will tell you about it as it gets started. For now, it is Jennifer's month in more ways than one.  I wanted to get these blocks made and in the mail before we left for vacation. Jennifer asked for Remixed Flying Geese blocks, with a very open color scheme. These blocks are 6.5" x 12.5" unfinished, so she asked for 4 blocks. I was not happy with the top left block, so I decided to make an extra block.

Jennifer is also getting married next week, so I wanted to make her a little something extra. I decided on two voile pillowcases. A simple, but hopefully special gift. Jennifer runs the Knotted Thread online shop and she is always so generous with her sponsorships and giveaways, I thought it would be fun to send her and her fiancé a little surprise.
I got a surprise myself when the print accidentally matched on one of the pillowcase seams.

I hope these have arrived and I am not spoiling the surprise. I'm looking forward to seeing a few photos on Instagram of the wedding festivities. Congratulations Jennifer and Steve.

I hope they don't have to sleep on the floor! ;-)) Seriously, the pillowcases are lovely!

Lovely gift! I have a cavalcade of geese in my future, I've been putting it off, but I'm going to have to bite the bullet soon!
