Finish Along 2015, Q1

The Finish Along has a new leader. Adrianne will shepherd us this year. It's a big job and not an easy one either, so first I want to give a big shout out to her and "thank you" in advance for all she will do this year to make the Finish Along a fun and encouraging year of beautiful finishes.

Four seems to be a good working number for me, so I will stick with it.
1. I have my requisite pair of socks to finish knitting.

2. A 60th birthday quilt to make. I am excited to try Claudia's new pattern and have chosen this selection of fabrics paired with Kona Snow to make this quilt for my friend's April birthday.

3. Next is this old WiP that I pulled out to finish. It was a Virtual Quilting Bee put together by the lovely Amy Smart. I grew tired of the fabrics so I never finished making all the blocks, but will add some more of something to it and get it finished.

4. The last is this Marcelle Medallion quilt. I grew tired of my fabric choices on this one too, so I will either leave this as is and  make it into a mini or add a bit more to it and make a larger quilt.

Great list, I am thinking of sticking to a shorter one this round.

The Virtual Bee quilt is very unusual for you Di! I look forward seeing what you do with it; maybe some solid space in the dark turquoise colour?

You will do these easily, Di. I love the blue and gold one

Your Marcelle Medallion is so gorgeous - you could make such a wonderful quilt from it. Why not go scrappy? Anyway, lovely projects and good luck!

Don't think I've ever seen the virtual bee blocks before. They will make a fab finish, though it is hard when you've gone off your fabric choices. Your medallion is beautiful!
