In October I listed my 4 things I wanted to finish for the final quarter of 2014.
First up is to finish the second sock for this pair that I brought along to knit on our vacation to Vermont.
Both are finished and have been keeping my feet warm for several weeks now.
And when I finish that sock I have the second sock to finish on another pair. This one has a simple cable going up each side and is very fun to make.
Two socks finished and also keeping my feet warm.
Then there is my Posey Patrol quilt made out of Denyse Schmidt fabrics. I think I have about 60 blocks finished and want to make about 40 more, then get them all sewn into a quilt top, quilted and bound. That should take me a while.
I finished this one with barely a day to spare and blogged about it yesterday. I decided that 80 blocks would make a perfect size quilt.
The last is a super secret project I am making for my sister's big birthday in November. I hope you will trust me on this one. All the fabric is starched and I have started cutting some of the pieces, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. She has requested a quilt, so you know I will be making a quilt and gifting it by November.
This quilt was finished and gifted to my sister the second week of November.
This is the final link up with our hostess, Katy. A big thanks to her for all the hard work she puts in to organize and keep track of every one's makes and finishes. She also secures all the prizes. It's a huge job and I so appreciate her for doing it this year.
