It's a Wrap

This concludes my bee obligations for the Month of February. It was a big month because of the 4x5 bee, but it was also a good month of challenges and creativity...and February isn't even a week old yet!
Kari {Craft Happy}, in Bee Sewcial, asked for poster blocks. Actually, she only asked for one 10.5" x 16.5" block, but after I made the first one, I re-read her requests and realized she wanted a predominate bright color as the background, so I made her another block. I hope between these two blocks that she will find a good addition to her quilt. You can see that the 1/4 circle block is a mirror image, I couldn't let that fabric go to waste.

I really do love the colors she chose. Improv and all this graphic art is so out of my comfort zone, but I am learning so much from just the two months in this bee, so far.

So there we have it. 8 packages ready to mail. All bee blocks for February.

Stitch Tease Bee
4x5 Modern Quilt Bee

Next week I am switching from sewing to scrapbooking. It's time for my annual girls' trip to the Seattle area and I can't wait. Salty's seafood pasta is calling my name. Another friend and I are going to visit one of our dearest friends, hang out, drink wine, scrapbook, talk and have fun. It's always a highlight of my year and something I have enjoyed for 10 years now. I can't wait!

You are a phenom in the bee block department. EIGHT? Wowswers. But I know you are really organized and have tons of talent. I loved your poster blocks--you're a natural!
