Spider Web Blocks

I made these spider web blocks in May for Kari in the Stash Sewciety bee. They are really fun and easy but make a huge mess as I was pulling scraps from all my scrap bins.
My sewing room is a disaster zone these days as I frantically try to play catch up. I think after this weekend, I will feel like I can relax and enjoy sewing at a slower pace.
The tutorial by Heather was really easy to follow.
I think Kari is going to end up with a beautiful quilt. I love the saturated colors with the low volume for the centers of the blocks. You can see more of Kari's work on her Instagram account @kjarchows.

If all the blocks look as pretty as these, yes, it will be a beautiful quilt! And scrap quilting DOES make a huge mess, but so worth it!

Gorgeous blocks, I love making string blocks so I think I would love these ones too, scrap blocks always seem to involve pulling scraps and making a mess but it is a lot of fun making them.

It's a bit like a treasure hunt, rummaging through the scrap piles finding fabrics we forgot we owned! Lovely blocks Di!
