52 Lists, Week 10

I can't believe it is already week 10 in Kellie's 52 Lists, 52 Weeks Challenge. This weeks prompt is to make a list of Favorite Places and Spaces. Here is my list along with some of my favorite photos from our travels over the last few years.

And working on my list from Make a List Monday I completed 4 Farmer's Wife blocks. This was really easy because I just cut a bunch of strips and made the blocks that worked with the size strips I cut. I really like these fabrics together. At some point I am going to have to tackle some of the more difficult blocks, otherwise that is all I will have at the end.

I also received two much anticipated packages this weekend. The first was the Japanese Charm squares from the swap that was hosted by Cindy, who blogs at Fluffy Sheep Quilting.

And if the Japanese fabrics weren't enough fun, I also received my charms from the Spoonflower fabric swap, hosted by Anne Marie, who blogs at Gen X Quilters.

I spy an "I SPY" quilt in my future.
The highlight of our weekend was having 2 of our grandsons spend the night and then today they went to the Angel's baseball game with Uncle Kyle and Papa while I attended the bridal shower for my nephew's future wife. Looks like they had fun.

Thanks for stopping by,

I love all your favorite places and would agree with all of them although I would have to make a substitution in No.6 LOL. What a beautiful family you have and yes, it looks like they had fun!

Your sister sent me here with your great raggedy flower tutorial. even though I am not a quilted, I am always envious of your talents, it seems so effortless to create beautiful things and I know that it is not. Lovely blocks, and cute family. xox Corrine

Its such as you learn my mind! You appear to understand so much
about this, such as you wrote the book in it or something.

I think that you simply can do with some % to drive the
message house a little bit, but instead of that, this
is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I'll certainly be back.
