Share your Favorites

Suz, of Patchwork n Play and Mary, of Molly Flanders are having a fun linky party today to share your favorite fabrics. Maybe there's one you can't bare to cut into, or one you are saving for the right project to show up. Here are mine.
First up is a fat quarter bundle of Heather Ross' Far, Far and Away. I haven't cut into this fabric because I want to find just the right design to show off the fun design and characters on the fabric.

Next is Michael Miller's Eiffel Tower. I love all things French and this fabric screamed at me to buy it. So far I have only used a 6" square of it to make a bee block for one of my partners.

Lastly, is another French inspired fabric. I don't know the name but it is a reproduction of a Paris newspaper type print and it is large scale. I'm thinking it would look good on a cute bag. Maybe the bag I need to make before I go to the Sewing Summit in three weeks. Yikes, I better get sewing.

Hop on over to either Suz' blog or Mary's and share your favorite fabrics.

Block of the Month
I've decided to try the block of the month club with Canton Village Quilt Works. Check it out. On the 25th of each month, there will be some amazing designers who have signed up to design one block a month. It just might be the "class" I need to step up my game.

Canton Village Quilt Works

Today I am working on finishing the back of my Across the Seas quilt and organizing my fabric. Hopefully, I'll have more to post tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by,

Thanks for sharing! The French fabric is fantastic. I wish Heather Ross would work in the wonderfully soft cotton again. That Kokka fabric is so rough....
