and the winner is... has picked a winner from the 90 comments I received on the post about the wonderful soaps Dana makes @Old Red Barn Co. I think it is so cool when anyone wins but I really like it when someone I have a bloggy friendship wins. I'll keep you in suspense just as long as it takes you to read this post.  But I can tell you a few things about the winner.
1. She lives where the Queen is not the leader of her quilting bee.
2. She makes the most beautiful star quilts.
3. She loves the smell of fresh cut grass in summer and a bonfire in autumn
4. Her favorite cookie is gingerbread.
5. She has the two cutest little girls who love to play with toilet paper.

Here is what I will be working on today. I'm using the scraps I won from Patchwork in Paris.  You should check out Jennifer's blog.  She makes some beautiful quilts, but takes photos of them all over Paris, so you get a mini tour with each photo session. I'll be making some Christmas pillows with these squares. Wish me luck because I've never made a quilted pillow before.

Ok, have I kept you in suspense long enough? Without further delay, Mr. has picked lucky number #64
Susan from Canadian Abroad has won. Congratulations, Susan. It's always nice when a friend wins!
I'll send your information to Dana and she will be in touch with you!

Thanks for stopping by,
