1400! That's how many 2-1/2" squares I cut to make this granny square quilt! Now I am sashing these blocks and will get them sewn together next week. This one is for a birthday in October, so I am way ahead of the game.
I have been playing with the layout in Picassa and so far this will be the one I am using. Please, if anyone sees something that looks wonky, tell me. There is one block in the bunch that bugs me, but I am leaving it. How does this layout look to you?
and if you are looking for the giveaway, you can find it here.
I got the numbered comments straightened out but now I am having a few layout problems. Sorry for the messed up sidebar...it's a work in progress.

Fabulous and I like the grey sashing in the drawing. Worth the effort of all those squares : )
I can't find the block buggering you - it looks just fine.
I think it looks great. The colors are evenly spaced and I think the gray sashing will go perfectly with it.
looks great to me
It's looking great, and may inspire me with what I'm going to do with my bundle...
Go for it - looks great to me x
beautiful! now would you like to pass on how you got your comments to have numbers on them…… I'm stumped!
Looks great to me!
Looks great to me too! ( could the bottom green one be the 'bug'?)
Looks great :o)

Great layout - it has that random-but-carefully-balanced look about it.
Love it!!!
oh, i love this quilt!!!
I love it! The third row, the three blocks on the right... did you think about breaking up the green there? Maybe swap one down to the bottom row on the left? Just an idea!
This is lovely and will be even better once you are all finished.
LOVE this! the upper right block and the third down below it might be a little too close. Super duper beautiful.
I think the quilt looks great. In fact, seeing it has convinced me to start my own Reunion quilt.
I'm wondering if you're looking at the second block from the left in the second row. To me, that is somewhat indistinct, with perhaps not enough contrast between the different design elements.
But I offer that tentatively, because I really think your quilt looks great.
Oh wow- that layout looks grand- How do you do something like that on Picasa- it looks like it's complicated? off to google it, but if you feel like it, maybe you could (smiles winsomely) do a tutorial? I am totally impressed with your layout!
It looks perfect to me! Well done!
1400? That is quite a few, I think it looks great! How do you work on your layout on the computer?
I love it just the way it is. Every time I see it!
Awesome! It looks huge! how big is it?
